My story was made into a film!

2 weeks ago, I filmed something really exciting for my college youtube channel. I made my journey, my story into a film and honestly I am so happy with how it turned out. I’ve been at Treloar Collage for 2 years now and its changed my life so much. You see I wasn’t even planning to go to Treloars in the first place because I was so adament that I really didn’t want to stay to far away from home, but while looking at colleges, none of them suited my needs so I thought what the heck why not just look at treloars. So thats what I did and I looked at it towards the end of 2021 and I instantly fell in love with it.

Starting at Treloars has been one of the best decisions of my life. It has given me confidence, strength and even understood. What I mean by that is that, people understand me they get me not like people do at home. You see we’re all a community and we all know what having a disability like the struggles we had to face in our day to day life’s. That college has made me who I am today. If it wasn’t because of them, I don’t know where I would be.

i mean I’m going to do my A level art next year. Its taking a long time but we got there in the end. I’m even thinking about applying for a university studying creative and professional writing. This year has definitely been one of the most craziest and stressful years of my life. A year ago University wouldn’t even cross my mind. As well asA levels ill be taking my EPQ qualification to which will help me build up my UCAS points. But like I said I would never be here if it wasn’t for Treloars and with that im very grateful.

its not just about education though, they have physio therapy, and OT. Physio therapy there is amazing especially me. They helped me to stand for the first time and for me that’s a huge step. When I first started at Treloar, I couldn’t even sit independently but now I’m standing and Honestly I’m so amazed. In the physio gym they’ve got millions of physio equipment for the students to become more independent. They also have a Hydro pool and I love it so much!

The reason I’m sharing this with you all, is Treloar’s could use your help. I’m not just sharing this documententary to you guys to share my story I’m sharing it with you all to show you how amazing Treloar’s is and what they can do and offer young people like us.
